The Musical Nutrition System brings together Cognitive, Neurological, Biological and Social methods and techniques utilising music for healing, recovery and human potential.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is the link between our autonomic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system. HRV indicators can be correlated to all our body’s organs and systems. HRV adaptive music is a single piece of music which dynamically adapts according to the changes in your Heart Rate Variability. This presents new possibilities for bio-adaptive music for both musical experience and musical therapeutics.

Our current music is greatly restrained. Restricted by both equal temperament and audio file and processing systems. Restricted by time signatures and even restricted by BPM. To truly unlock the power of sound we must move out of equal temperament – and to do this we need to go beyond our current file formats (mp3, WAV, AIFF etc), create a new audio processing system and move beyond the limits of time signatures and BPMs. I’ve developed an initial prototype to demonstrate that untempered music is indeed possible and I also personally believe it holds the future of ‘Music and Precision Medicine’ and the Quantum Musical Experiences of the future.

Julene collaborated with conscious artist HaStyle to create music for empowering social change.

Addressing misinformation and disinformation on the Arab world and Islam, “Music of the Arab World” was a project designed to bring together icons from around the Arab World to create an authentic voice for Arab and Islamic communities, and enable audiences to meaningfully interact to restructure our social narratives around Islam and Arab Societies.

Julene worked with RoundGlass LLC to develop digital music therapies for Depression, Trauma and Anxiety. First of their kind, these digital music therapies are being put forward to the FDA for clinical effectiveness and approval. It is her passion that her company Musical Nutrition is able to see the advancement of music therapies.

Early years brain development is key for both preventing mental health challenges later in life but also for setting the foundations for human potential. Funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), through Musical Nutrition, Julene worked with a team of specialists to develop digital interactive programs to simulate, train, support and optimise brain development for 3,4,5 and 6 year olds.
