Some recent examples of Julene’s Artistic Direction include:

  • Initiatrix: A Supernatural Romantic Apocalyptic Thriller. Julene co-wrote the script is Co-Directing the production and has designed ‘Impact Merchandise’ to enable the audience to step into the story and characters whilst also engaging in interactive content for personal empowerment, resilience and radical reimagining.
  • Le Beauvallon Annual Event Series: As Artistic Director and Creative Consultant Julene designed an annual event series which seasonally hosts cultural traditions from around the world and also meaningful multisensory immersive experiences.
  • The Land of Immortality: Julene worked with the Ministry of Culture to create a production based on Dilmun Sumerian mythology and bring it to life with an innovative engaging production. As Artistic Director, she portrayed this ancient history through directing choreography combining acrobatics with dance and composed a classical fusion score.
  • Umm Kulthum at the London Palladium: Julene Co-Directed the music with Louai Alhenawi, ensuring authenticity of Umm Kulthum’s musical genre and historical account of her legendary story.
  • Queen Elizabeth II: Julene was employed as Artistic Director by Queen Elizabeth II/Commonwealth Secretariat to create a cultural music event which brings together the commonwealth countries in meaningful way.
